Project Overview

ZipRyde is a taxi booking app built for iOS and Android by Octal Digital’s ride-hailing app development team. City commuters use it to book a ride quickly and on demand, and drivers rely on it for a steady stream of trip requests. A rider requests a cab, watches the driver’s location update in real time, checks the fare estimate, and pays in-app once the ride ends. Octal Digital built the backend for high availability, so bookings and driver matching keep working as ride volume grows.

Objectives

ZipRyde was built to make booking a cab in the city faster and more reliable for both riders and drivers. The goal was a product that keeps rides safe, predictable, and easy to manage, while giving Octal Digital’s client room to scale into new cities and driver fleets.

Enable instant taxi booking with minimal steps.
Provide real-time GPS tracking for both riders and drivers.
Offer secure, cashless payments with upfront fare estimates.
Support in-app messaging between drivers and passengers.
Deliver a fast, intuitive interface built for city rides.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Octal Digital is the best App Development Company we hired so far, out of the three companies we hired only they were the ones that finished it within the shortest time frame and had the best interface!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It’s true that having a software developer for a business is essential, but since we lacked the budget and we know that it’s time consuming to hire an inexperienced company, I’m glad we were recommended Octal Digital. The web app we made them do was done efficiently and very detailed
